I have always been a visual person. When I was younger, I liked to draw and paint before learning photography in high school. Something about photography always spoke to me as a visual person. I shot (mostly for myself) using a Minolta X7 35mm film camera for many years. I took a break from photography for various reasons--mostly because life got in the way, However in 2004, when digital cameras were becoming more ubiquitous, I picked it up again and have been shooting ever since.
